  5. 2 tbsp chopped pistachios

Instructions to make to make Rice kheer

  1. Firstly wash and soak rice for 20 minutes. This help to cook the rice quickly. Drain and set aside.
  2. Pour milk in a heavy bottomed pot and bring it to boil on medium flame. When it come to a boil add drained rice.
  3. Keep string often to prevent burning. Also keep the flame on low. Add keshar / saffron.

  4. Add nuts, cardamon powder and sugar.

  5. Cook until the kheer thickens on low flame. Once it's done, turn of flame.
    Let it come to the room temperature then transfer kheer in a bowl and Garnish it with chopped nuts and rose petals.
