- 20 grams rice (preferably Gobindo Bhog Chaal/Rice)
- 1/2 ltr milk
- 4-5 tbsp sugar
- 2-3 drops rose essence
- as needed Dry fruits of your choice
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 Cardamom/Elaichi
- 1 bay leaf
- as needed Few kesar strands for garnishing

- First soak the rice in water for half an hour. Now take a tadka pan, add a tsp of ghee and fry the dry fruits and keep it aside.
- Now boil the milk adding a bay leaf to it. This would enhance its flavour, then add the soaked rice to it. Now add the fried dry fruits & elaichi. Mix everything well. Boil it till the rice 70 percent done.
- Now add sugar & rose essence to it. Mix it well. Cook the rice till it's completely done. Now switch off the flame. And garnish it with some chopped dry fruits & kesar strands. Let it come to room temperature then keep it in a refrigerator for an hour or two & serve chilled.
